Heheh. I was wondering if someone would make that 'bridge' connection - but yes - no violations of the laws of physics here.
At least not where the chasm is concerned. _________________

Took me a while to get around to saying...
When I see "Daeom'acal", one of my first thoughts is a southern accent exclaiming "dayamn".
Now back to catching up on the last couple chapters...
EDIT:
...done. I suppose you could call that a suicide shot, except for the survival. _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |

Cirrel, sometimes I want to hate you for writing such addictive stories. They end too soon. Thankfully, this one hasn't, yet. _________________ Nicolai

All I know is that once I start to read one of his stories I can't stop!
This can be a problem at times, like when I need to sleep so I can go to work and stay off the public dole. |

Chapter 21 of Darien's Gap is now posted to my website.
http://www.wilderhom.com/dariensgap/dariensgapFULL.html
Again, the new material is at the bottom of the full story file.
I didn't get a chance to have Mike go over this for typos, but I'm heading out on the road in a few minutes and can't post to my own website from my laptop (for lack of software). If you guys see any loose ends not tied up by this first version, let me know. I can change things easily enough. Also, an epilogue will be coming.

Time travel. Ouch, always makes my head hurt at the possible ramifications and multiple dimensions and timelines.
Great finish, C. The Epilogue will be interesting.

Oh, come-on there TM, the clue-by-fours practicallty screamed time-travel, especially the poem lines -
Quote: | Gaps are crossed between the Two, Golden Siblings, interchange.
Heros of the Future Past. Know we not, who's first or last. |
I mean, 'Future Past' and 'interchange' plus the phone messages...
(either that or I've been reading tooo many of these things) |

Heh, Frazikar, I was being a bit facetious. TM deals with time and dimension travel on a regular basis in the ALN multiverse. Sometimes it does become a bit muddled at to when you are and where time it is.

Just read the whole thing. I waited until it was fully finished before reading it and another great Nohni story Cirrel, I loved it. And yes the whole thing was screaming of time travel especially with Nohni's "sister" being involved and constant references to time. There were no time paradoxes though as nothing was truly done to create one. A great read and I can't wait for the next adventure, though maybe a nice vacation for Nohni instead this time, I think she has more than earned a break lol. |
