I found out on g4 that Fasa studios founder Jordan Weisman is working with piranha studios on a new mechwarrior game and the reveal trailer features some serious atlas action.

All i have to say is... Drool I gotta have it!

It is time for my madKat IV to rise again! I wonder of they're releasing model sixes or if that's still going to be in the rumor mill. If not i'm fine sticking with the model fours. They can certainly handle a lot better than the model threes or fives.

... I played the table top. It's a lot like the table top Warhammer only with giant robots of mass destruction, and only giant robots of mass destruction. Those Atlases cost a lot of points but with good reason. They were basically walking artillery pieces.

its going to be a total restart of the franchise. kinda like star trek did in the last movie. chances are all the classics will be there but likely be rebooted to their original glory.

It was on slashdot earlier today that Microsoft gave the green light for free distribution of MechWarrior4 Smile

I don't have a link but check the headlines in http://slashdot.org
