No need to hide on my account, Filly. You felt it was necessary, so I will accept it.
Now that the shock is wearing off, I can comment coherently about the rest of the chapter.
I do believe that a certain school principal and the school board are going to get a very, very pointed education in ethics. I doubt that Jean will cut any of them any slack whatsoever. THAT I am going to enjoy.
Esteban will be there, with videocam, I am certain. I'll bet that the news media will be there, too. Gonna embarass them in public, but good.
Kudos for Jean!
Just one fur's speculation.

No need to hide, filly. As far as the Coach's demise, I'll post this;
"To make it proper, I'll lift a horn of dark, thick ale to her memory. Long live Aslaug Larsdatter, we'll miss you."
That is if she's really gone.

If you've paid close attention to the filly's life, the possibility that Aslaug is really gone from this world is a definite ... maybe.
I could be wrong, and if I am, so be it. Let the egg land squarely on my muzzle for making an inaccurate statement if that be the case.
She has been in bad shape before and made it just fine.
Kel
p.s. - In my universe that I write in, there are parallel worlds that don't have an Aslaug ... yet. Who's to say our favorite filly won't land on a different world, doing her thing there. I won't write it but that's not to say someone else won't ... just some food for thought. _________________ "Старый боевой конь, Кeллан" |

Maybe she'll show up in Identity Crisis? _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

You know...if you weren't happily married, Kellan, I'd say you'd fallen in love with the valkyrie |

*comes back out to the computer*
Ya know, I guess I like Aslaug because there are quite a few similarities between her and my tigress.
Take Aslaug's no-nonsense attitude and hide it behind a well-rehearsed facade of subtlety, and you have my tigress. Sweet and all but don't tick her off because there's Hel to pay if you do.
*hides from tigress for letting the khat out of the bag*
[edit]
I just realized that my tigress also sneaks up on me without my knowing it somehow.
Damn-I better check for valkyrie spears in the house!
[/edit]

Could be worse, Kellan..
My s/o has a thing for skunks .. Her favorite collectible is of Pepe Le Pew. ^_^
So, no worries about sneaky spouses, especially since mine is bloody transparent and open about how she sees things .. more worries about the stink being made when things surprise my spouse. ^_~ _________________ Independent Business Owner ... Ask me, if interested in learning more.
