Are ou certain that 'desiccated' is the right adjective to use when describing those corpses?
They weren't exactly dry to begin with...

I have a feeling that those drunk kids were those pest of kids that tried to mussel the group in their early adventure. As for the Biker, he may have been a lost piece of the puzzel.

I've just written the last words of the last chapter of the last book in the Transitions series...

It's done.

I haven't even sent it to my proofreaders yet. It's completed and done, and I feel very, very strange inside. I started writing this almost exactly four years ago. Almost exactly...

It's been such a huge part of my life for so long and now it's completed and it's time for me to close this book and start a new one. But I hope you all understand what I mean when I say it'll be a little while before I think I'm really up to writing much of anything on a new story. It's a huge impact...the feeling of completing something I've worked so hard on for so long...

*rubs face* I think I'm going to buy myself a bottle of red wine and a steak for tomorrow. I would just burn the meat today...but tomorrow I'll allow myself a nice dinner and I'll toast myself and congratulate myself on what I've done.

Thank you...all of you who have stood by me through this. Thank you to Tigermark, Silver Coyote and Aramis Dagaz who were my first proofreaders. Thank you to Valaina who came in later on, too...

Damned, this is starting to sound like an Academy Awards speech already.
