All skunks have claws. Just that you never see them because EWS doesn't draw them. |
I think the point was that skunks have fixed claws (they're actually more like their fingers than they are like traditional claws), not retractable claws like a cat.
Hence the "unsheathed" couldn't be true in the literal sense.
Zig, on the other hand, does have retractable claws, courtesy of her tiger grandfather. |
This is all very true! Me, I was counting on the fact that since Eric never draws Sabrina with claws at all that everyone would accept that since they're furry that it's an evolutionary thing that took place over millions of years where today civilized furs and furres are able to retract theirs now.
How's that sound? It's my story and I'm stickin' to it |

That’s not true that Eric draws Sabrina without claws I think. If you look at the strips I like to point out that if Sabrina is angry or annoyed Eric draw her fingers pointy as if she get claws
A good example is this strip

Ok he actually draws only four Furs with claws (Spike, Thomas father, Zig sometimes with sometimes without and Dark Cat) but I like your theory about the evolution thing.
and yes it´s your story and your rules so I shut up.

Artistic license. Nothing that I saw in those panels looked like claws to me.
If you look at the surprised Sabrina on the Sabrina model sheet, her fingers come to points there, too. But sorry, they're definitely not claws.

I understand one day, evolution will put a fifth finger on everyone's paw

How about two for the price of one?
Seriously though, be on a lookout for me Chris, I'm planning a fan fiction (perhaps some comic strips included) that'll focus about the years of my character's life (and maybe yes, Sabrina and the gang will feature in as soon I have an ok from Eric, MBR, and perhaps you too).

To be fair, the raccoon is up and around! He's the one prodding me to get my bushy tail in gear!
It's that evil combination of busy and tired, friends. Mostly tired, I'm afraid I'm going through that patch again where I'm tired all of the time

Hmmm, been through too many of those (course, one is too many, but...) maybe you need to pace yourself a bit for this stretch...
Maybe if ya left some bread crumbs you could at least get the raccoon to move from the dumpster?? |

If you'd said Sonic, I'd have asked you what the difference was
FTR I've never eaten at Sonics (had a cherry Coke though, good stuff!), but I hear the food's overpriced and crappy. |
