I was listening to Tenacious D and I was unsure if this thread would go anywhere but I figured I'd post it anyway.
I want to know who likes them, favorite songs, the movie.
Master Exploder is one of my favorites. I like Beelzeboss too.

Okaaaay I listened to some samples of their songs and umm yeah there just as dumb as the movie. The music it self is cool but the lyrics seem like they were written to appeal to thirteen year old boys I'd almost think they wrote the "My dick in a box" song (not sure if they didn't) I suppose it's cool if you like to be bludgeoned over the head with bathroom humor, not my cup of tea though.

Personally I like them. I think they have some pretty funny songs.

I can't disagree with you about the low-brow humor in the lyrics Styx, but I suppose it just appeals to me, as music not so much as humor.

It's catchy, I'm glad you like the music that comes with it, Kyle Gass is an absolutely amazing guitarist.
Styx: You may like their song 'The Metal' better, if you like the music, the lyrics of that song might appeal to you better.
