I'd hope so, those blue-bloods aren't getting enough oxygen into their system. _________________ "Cogito, ergo es. I think, therefore you is." Ray D. Tutto (King of the Moon) to Baron Munschaussen |

Has anyfur with the means checked on him to see how he's doing? Not to rush him back but an update would be good _________________ "Political Correctness is tyranny with manners." Charlton Heston

Well, I'm coming along. Still not 100% yet, that'll take some time. I'm on 2 different medicines for hypertension plus iron to help build the blood back up. Last Thursday I had an appointment with the doctor and had blood work done -- my white count's high and others are low, so I have to keep on keepin' on and see him again in a month.
The big thing is remembering NOT to try and move at my normal speed, which is really hard not to do, since I feel normal ... until I overdo it Then I need to have a seat.
I've also been getting around with a walking stick. The Thursday I came home I was woozy as anything, and I was thinking about what might happen if I felt that way with no wall around or personage to catch me. It also helps me meter my pace.
I've seen a little bit of blood in the nose, most recently today, but NOT steady bleeding, just appears when there's a hard buildup of crud up in the nostril and I try to soften it with moistening. Otherwise the blood's staying INside my body where it belongs!
The hypertension, that's a pain in the tail. I still fly off of the handle, it just doesn't feel as intense anymore
That's about it, really. One freakin' day at a time. Waaaay too slow. |

Well if you listen to some people, they'll tell you blood IS blue. It just turns red when it hits oxygen |

Yeah, thank God! He knew I was in fear of my job, he said not to worry about it and to 'get better'. If it had been longer than a week, he said that might've caused a problem, but as it was everything was covered okay.
Now the fun part? The guy I replaced, who I worked with and filled in for when I was at Northrop-Grumman before, called me and told me the company he's working for now is still looking for people. AND the boss wants to meet me. It'd pay more and I'd actually be an employee with benefits. After Northrop-Grumman putting up with me for that week, I have to say that I'm in a real quandary here. |

I would say give NG a try, and see if things are manageable. If they're that decent, you don't want to take a chance by dropping out quickly and sending vibes through the sector based on your resignation. If that other organization is still hiring later on and you aren't finding yourself comfortable at NG, give them a call.
Just one cat's opinion, though |
