Well folks. As of this moment, I am officially writing on the last chapter of Transitions II. Ergo, I think it's time to make a thread for Transitions III even if it won't actually see the light of day for a while yet. I do know, from my own proofers, that there will be guessing going on about what will happen in this part of the storyline, however...so I'll leave it up to all of you to start making your input and dropping your thoughts and ideas here...
No harm in trying to secondguess the author, after all...
If nothing else it'll be fun to see how much you got right and where you were wrong... |

I shall make a rather weird prediction :
While the filly doesn't actually pen the wedding, we see children in Zig Zag & James' future. ^_^ _________________ Independent Business Owner ... Ask me, if interested in learning more.

Indeed, Karou--Tigermark has already done some speculation along those lines. You can take a look at some of his fan-fics on the zzstudios website, if you haven't already. He's got some good stories there.
Will Aslaug keep those same characters, or go in a different direction? We've already seen that she & Tigermark know each other very well, and borrow each other's characters on occasion. Perhaps the trend will continue...? _________________ Styx: "Oh sure like flaming a dragon going to do massive damage, brave challenge there Teric." |

True, but I believe we'll actually have to wait for James to pen that happy occasion for the rest of us to enjoy the spectacle. _________________ Independent Business Owner ... Ask me, if interested in learning more.

Indeed. I have always said, and I'll keep saying, that Zig Zag's and James Shepherd's marriage is for James Bruner to write. Not me. I know others have done so in various fan-fics but I won't do so for several reasons.
First of all because I believe it's a central element in James Bruner's storyline and I don't want to steal his thunder in any way...
Secondly, because Transitions isn't a fanfic anymore...and logically hasn't been a fanfic for a very, very long time. It's a pretty extensive story in it's own right, after all.
Thirdly...I think we've had enough marriages for a while |

For some reason I'm predicting some unusual appearances in T3. >.> _________________ Independent Business Owner ... Ask me, if interested in learning more.

What do you mean 'unusual appearances', Karou? And what are you basing that on? |

Just a feeling .. since this'll involve the children of some of the T2 cast, there might be places for interesting fols to be added .. I don't know .. teachers, classmates, the usual crowd @ the studio... _________________ Independent Business Owner ... Ask me, if interested in learning more.

*grins* Well, I managed to blindside even my proofers with the appearance of one particular character. I am at the moment writing on chapter 8 of Transitions III, so they've seen the basic cast already
The rest of you will have to wait a while yet, of course. |

Of course I won't post Transitions III until Transitions II is complete That'd be kinda silly. |

And rightfully so--it makes a lot more sense to finish out T2 before starting on a new story. Otherwise, it might confuse some of the newer readers. Plus, it's always very tempting to 'read ahead', as it were, to find out what happens in the next story before completing the current one.
I'm looking forward to T3 myself, but I want to be sure to finish T2 first. _________________ Styx: "Oh sure like flaming a dragon going to do massive damage, brave challenge there Teric." |

Gives us more time to come up with theories on the outcome of both T2 and T3... _________________ Independent Business Owner ... Ask me, if interested in learning more.
