Well, every other story has a soundtrack, why not SOltS? So, submitted for your approval, my first suggestion, for Sabrina's wedding (even though it hasn't happened yet).
Xenogears - Uncaptured Jewel OC Arrangement
And/or
Chrono Cross - Radical Dreamers (Angelic) _________________ ~Sammie the Pizza Box

Hmm... Time to pull out the Chicago, I should think
For just about any point early in the story, Along Comes A Woman. And You're The Inspiration just belongs anywhere. I was also thinking of I Don't Wanna Live Without Your Love for Wendy's heart-stopping chapter27-29 fantasy, but I'm not sure quite how well it fits. Garth Brooks's The Dance is another thought for that sequence.
Peter Gabriel's In Your Eyes could work somewhere, too, as well as Marc Cohn's True Companion.
And for something a little... err... different... AC/DC's You Shook Me All Night Long.
This concludes today's journey through my music collection.
And I came out without mentioning anything from Bon Jovi like Thank You For Loving Me...

Mmm... OC.... nice to see someone else who knows about the OverClocked Remix. Secret of Mana has some good remixes that may be appropriate. Anyways...
Primitive Radio Gods, 'Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth'
Lifehouse, 'Falling'
Blessid Union of Souls, 'Hey Leonardo'
The Cure, 'Someday' (yes, I listen to The Cure. Yes, I know they have hits that are older than I.)
And, ONLY for the barfight:
Disturbed, 'Shout 2000' _________________ (00:40:05) nbz: you win at the motherf***ing internet O_O |

No idea where it would go, but it works.
Jan Hammer- Crockett's Theme.
Actually, I know exactly where this would go... _________________ (00:40:05) nbz: you win at the motherf***ing internet O_O |

American Woman-The Guess Who
I think this fits for Wendy, and probably more appropriately, Wanda, and their respective quarries.
Because the Night-Patti Smith
For the romantic bits, I think the “First Time” would be a good fit.
Words of Love- Buddy Holly
I think a good fit for Cindy and Clarence, but it can work for Chris and Sab.
People are Strange- The Doors
A good theme for Clarence starting out. Maybe a little too creepy though
I’m a believer- Monkees?
Ahhh… I think this goes nice with the thoughts of Clarence when he gets Cindy.
Ring of Fire- Johnny Cash
A good love song, maybe for the first chapters!
I believe in a thing called love- the Darkness
Another good all-around fit.
Separate ways- Journey
Pretty good one for Chris and Wendy. Or if you prefer, that one chapter of the “break-up”
Touch myself- Cyndi Lauper?
Hehehe, If you don’t know, I can’t tell you.
Good Old fashioned Lover Boy-Queen
A good song describing Chris.
(I listed the same one For James )
Time Warp- Rocky Horror Picture Show
Oh, c’mon! I can’t be the only person who thought of this for “Tabitha” Even as a joke.
I’ll Be There For You- Friends Theme
I know it’s so corny it’s from Nebraska. But it still works for the Clique.
Cherry Pie-Warrant
Haha, So many uses for this song! Hahahahahahahahahahaaha xD
Somebody to Love- Queen
A good song for the beginning of the story.
Bad Medicine- Bon Jovi
A good little song for the “Picture Session”
For your Love- Beatles
I think this fits Clarence pretty well, either for when he is pining over Sabrina or when he wishes to desperately keep Cindy.
Can’t buy me Love-Beatles
It fits somewhere darnit!
Blitzball (opening)- FFX soundtrack
I am a fan of Fight scenes with music. This works quite well when Chris and James go Chuck Norris to defend their ladies.
Bad to the Bone- George Thurgood
When I read Clarence’s one dream sequence that ended with the She-male I thought of this song and laughed out loud!
Black Betty- Ram Jam
When Clarence first sees Wanda at the Photo Shoot…Hilarious!
Can’t Get enough Of you Baby- Smashmouth
Pretty much fits anywhere.
White & Nerdy- “Weird” Al Yankovich
Another good song for Clarence
mother-Pink Floyd
I totally got this vibe from Clarence’s mom. I think the song is called something else though…I don’t remember. Dangit!
Mortal Kombat Movie theme- Mortal Kombat soundtrack
Sorry, I couldn’t resist. The Video game fanatic in me took over for a bit. It would be pretty funny for the Fight scene though.
Sorry for the length. had to get it offa my chest though. I'll post moe as the music flows!

Blitzball from FFX opening--I think the proper title is "Another World". And that piece is just wild & crazy! A bit too wild for my tastes, but I find myself going back to listen to it every now & then. _________________ Styx: "Oh sure like flaming a dragon going to do massive damage, brave challenge there Teric." |

Aha! thanks Teric.
Miserlou-Dick Dale
I don't know about anybody else, but I keep hearing this song when I think of the Clique. Meh _________________ A little Nonsense now and then, is Relished by the Wisest men. |

"Touch Myself" was by Christina Amplette, whatever the band name was. Were you thinking of perhaps "She-bop" from Cyndi Lauper?

Thanks, Tiger!
I knew the song i just went with Cyndi because I knew she had a similar song... which you also pointed out. thank you for the clarification. I tend to listen to a lot of music and will frequently get artists crossed.
Whie pretty much any Beatles song will fit the story here are some of my faves:
Love me Do
Hold your Hand
Hard day's Night
i feel Fine
8 days a week
Something
And I am Sure there are many more. _________________ A little Nonsense now and then, is Relished by the Wisest men. |

out of sheer madness, i wrote a song For SOtS:
Online People by Josh Bickerdt
Parody of Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey
Just a skunkette girl, livin’ in a lonely world
She’s in a midnight chat talkin’ to anyone
He was a vulpine man, born and raised in Eau Claire Penn.
He’s in a midnight chat talkin’ to anyone.
He met her in a small chatroom, among players of Quake and Doom.
For a while they share the night, it goes
On and on and on and on…
E-mails waiting, up and down the Internet
Their files searching for the light
Online people, living virtual emotions,
Two have found it just tonight.
Working is not helping me
Won’t nobody leave me be
Wantin’ anything to chat with her,
Just one more time
Got her pic, sent her mine,
She musta been born this fine
Oh, the story never ends, it goes
On and on and on and on…
E-mails waiting, up and down the Internet
Their files searching for the light
Online people, living virtual emotions,
Two have found it just tonight.
Don’t stop E-mailin’
Hold on to that feelin’
Online people
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA...sorry, I was bored. _________________ A little Nonsense now and then, is Relished by the Wisest men. |
