Parents are cool! I will also admit they can also be a real pain at times also but hey we would not be here with out them.
my thoughts on the matter

Its our job to be a pain most of us only want the best we can do for our kids. Yes we are a pain and when you have children some things you will mimic from your parents. _________________

Nice seeing you while you were here, mostly in passing when I went to and from work but it stays cooler downstairs (cuz we're partially underground) and I hate the heat. Hope your trip was good. _________________ http://www.bukisa.com/people/AmberBarnes check it out!

*sighs* I had hoped I would get the Christmas story I am working on done in time but it seems like it was not meant to be... what a shame... I had a good feeling about this one...
Merry Christmas, everyone. I hope you have a good time. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

Part of me wants to feel jealous about that, but as I told you earlier, I have a suspicion that if I got a Wii I would throw out my shoulder using it, and my doctor would then slap me upside the head and shout "You so STUPID!!!" _________________ I have gone away to look for myself. Well, the last day of the year has begun... some for some reflection on what happened, I think. What is most memorable to me this year.
Firstly, early this year I went to Nottingham (the one in England) for a weekend. Why that is so memorable you ask? Well, two reason. First, this was a sort of pilgrimage for me for in Nottingham is the HQ of Games Workshop, creators of the Warhammer and Warhammer 40,000 tabletop strategy games. I had a great time at Warhammer world there. That's what I call wargaming in style.
Secondly, at the Holiday in I was staying at I was able to watch some wrestling. I had stopped watching that stuff quite a few years ago because I could not stand the stupidity I was seeing anymore. However, after watching it again I did realize that I am at a point in my life where I can see the entertainment value in the ridiculousness that is professional wrestling. This realization provided me with hours if fun over the next weeks.
After that... there was nothing for quite a while. Not to say that nothing good happened. I did have a good time but nothing particularly memorable happened. Until late summer.
MFM, again, and man, what a fun time it was! As good as the previous ones but with the added bonus of a really cool jacket I met some new friends, met a lot of old ones again and, most importantly for me, I met a really nice girl...
Ah, I should thank Leonato and Journye for giving me a home around the days of MFM again and driving me around all night to get the stuff I wanted to buy. Not to mention introducing me to the interesting culinary creation of chocolate dipped apples (I still think those don't belong together )
Following on the heels of MFM was the good news of me finding employment. Well, sort of. I got a part-time job at the Games Workshop in Hannover. Rather convinent, since I'm spending most of my time there anyway I hope this will turn into a full-time job soon.
My birthday... well, it was alright. I got what I asked for for a change, but that's not really a highlight of my birthday history, for I asked not for something that I wanted to have but something I desperately needed. Well, better than nothing I guess. Oh the positive side, I was allowed to have a really fun game at the Games Workshop.
Christmas was rather nice. I got something I asked for and DID want, making this a much better occasion in matters of gifts. However, the true highlight was a good time with the family. Not as good as some others I can remember but definitely a good time. Better than the last years.
And that brings us to... now.
Looking back... 2006 was not the best year I had but far from being the worst too. Not fantastic but not bad either. All in all, good year. I give it my thumbs up!
You go, 2006! Have a good time on your last day and a good rest afterwards.
And to you all, a Happy New Year! See you all in 2007 _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species
