[No_Idea_What_I'm_Doing]

This is a topic to introduce people to the RPG to which I am addicted: Mount and Blade. It is one of the few RPG's that actually has horses and the ability to ride them. It has a great community (of which I am a member, if you're ever there, look for General_Specific), a great game, anything you could ask for in an RPG. One of the hardest things to believe about this fully 3D game that doesn't need a 3D card is that it was made by two people. Don't shy away from it because of this fact, it doesn't look or play like it. My avatar is a screenshot from it. To look into it, go to http://taleworlds.com . Go to downloads to get a demo. I also suggest that you check out the forums. They usually realease a new version there before they do it in downloads.
