its been....so long...... in posting......
alots happened since august; my A level results (which were good) my birthday(which was better) my trip to Corfu (which was hot), the Creation of Ruined Earth (up till october known as 2150) and the start o the year at college. its all gotten on top of me recently.
But now im back! and heres some pics for all your viewing pleasures....

(note: in this universe (that is, Ruined Earth) Anthropomorphs are known as Tar'ran.)
Kree' Assualt Troopers, one human, the other a ringtail Tar'ran, break through an enemy strongpoint.
note they wear Mk XIV Full Combat Armour carrying ballistic shields, one with a Cassi 9mm Auto-carbine and the other with a Cooker-flamer, also known as a Napalm Gun.
note that both carry Personal Field Generators - a standard attachment to all Assault Trooper and Drop Trooper armour. it works on a reversed magnetic polarity bell-jar basis - that is, it projects a bubble of negative polarity around the user. if a solid shot was to be fired at the wearer the field would slow the round so that when it did hit it wasnt fatal, or if the angle was right, "deflect" the round slightly so that it went away from the wearer. seeing as how it only slows and doesnt stop the round, armour and ballistic shields still need to be carried.
this technology however, has NO effect on laser technology, as without carrying fragile mirrored armour to battle, its impossible to deflect light using magnetic force. it also has little effect on weapons larger than 50mm, as such shells benifit from such high velocity rates that the field makes little or no difference.
