Yeah, that's right...
I've just begun receiving SPAM on my PlanetFurry account...
I could use an online service like spam.n-dream.com to filter it, but...
I know that there are several 'nix programs around that's meant to run on the mail servers to automatically filter this crap.
Any thoughts? _________________ "My name's Lion, Anthony Lion"

I'll research some spam filter software for Planetfurry. The difficulty is Planetfurry is running special versions of a lot of software already, which may cause problems if we install anything special like this. |

What SMPT server are you running?
If you switch from SendMail to Qmial you'll find there are a couple of hooks for QMail that allow it to check with open-relay/spam list hosts before accepting mail for delivery. _________________ Read my comic: http://www.ImperialGelf.com

Custom version of Sendmail by Ensim. At the moment it is not possible to change this. There have been people that have been able to work around this and install programs like spamassassin, etc, but I have yet to do that successfully. |
