Wouldn't that be kinda tricky to do, with people on different sides of the world? I tried to push for a KWKAT talkshow but that did not go anywhere either. _________________ Tygon Panthera - name and species

I love it! Fantastorismic! Awesomatic! Stlupendleristic!
Sounds good. Will stories be read over the radio? _________________ http://superlagg.rappy.org/ |

For people on different sides of the world you could just record the episode and play it at different times during the day in order to give everyone a chance to hear it. _________________ I'm a serial killer, it's a bad habbit.

LOL! I think it's a spiffy idea. If anyone could point me in the direction of some programs so I could record and send, I'm up for it. Heck, I could read some stuff on air. Tex sent me a computer voiced program that read my Adventure Kay stories on air...though with the computer, it rather put people to sleep. Imagine if we could get all the voices of the people's chars on? And I love the idea of a radio talkshow...all we need are topics, the DJ could read all the responses on air. _________________ Doctor Kayngi

A good... reallly good audio software, is Audacity, you will need the LAME encoder tho (make your own spiffy mp3 filez!), but you will find both just by googling them.
Hope it helps _________________ [Citation Needed] |

Well looks like enough people are in favor of it atleast.
I'm going to be formulating ideas with Typhun when I go to see him this Friday and we do a broadcast on the Sunday at 9:00 my time. If anyone has any ideas, they're more than welcome to tell them to us over MSN. Us creative chaps need input! :3
As for recording software, I reccomend Cool Edit Pro. It's not to complicated to use and it can make MP3s without much trouble at all.

and so forth..
I guess I'm the guy, uh.. fox hehe

KWKAT Radio show...
Why is this bringing thoughts of "The Shadow" to mind? "Who knows what strangeness lurks in the posts of forum-goers? The FORUM MODS know!"
*snicker*
Well, maybe not. Script ideas, eh? I kind of like the furry superheroes ideas, but how to keep it from becoming a rip-off of something else without it getting TOO out of paw? Personally, I like the idea of turning Adventure Kay into a radio drama. It's got everything! An interesting storyline, great characters, lots of dialogue and places for special effects, you'd need a narrator character, mind you, and plenty of humor.
The last one is necessary because I KNOW that said radio show would almost have to to devolve into comedy eventually! |
