My brother has bought a GameCube today. Already played a lot Mario Cart Double Dash and had loads of fun. I am going to get Metroid Prime tomorrow and once it gets cheaper I'll get Metroid Prime Echos as well. It always kinda miffed me that these two were the only games of the series that I did not have.

Anyway, I wanted to ask among the GameCube owners here which GC games are your favorites and/or which games you can recommend.

Super Smash Bros. Melee or Soul Caliber 2 are good, the remade Resident evils are good not the ports the new R.E. 0, and 4 are pretty awesome, The Wind Waker is a great adventure game, Eternal Darkness is pretty creepy but really fun. There are others that are good but I can't think of them now.

Star Fox Assault is pretty good. the only problem I have withit is that its abruptly short and the sound effects are laughable. But the multiplayer is great.

The best I could reccoment would be either Metroid Prime and/or Metroid Prime 2 Echoes. Both are exelent first person shooters. The level designs are highly detailed, amd the combat system is easy to pick up on. Though i would reccoment getting Metroid Prime first but its not really necserally needed to understand the plot of the second. The second just has wider areas and more moves added onto the already prexisting moves from the first game.

Hmmmm... let's see.

I already have Soul Calibur II for the Xbox (which in my opinion is the best version) so I don't have to get that one.

Super Smash Brothers Melee is definitely on the list. Played it only once before and I lost BIG time so I kinda have to get it to soothe my hurt ego Wink

I got Metroid Prime yesterday. I had played that one before on a borrowed GC but wasn't able to finish it, what I plan to do now. I'll get Metroid Prime Echos once I got through Metroid Prime and Echos got a bit cheaper.

Getting these two games was a must on my list. They are the only Metroid games I did not have, what in my opinion is a brutal crime Wink

I kinda lost interest in the Zelda series so I'll probably stay away from these. Same with Resident Evil and any other scary games. They affect me VERY strongly, up to the point that they are too scary for me to play. I know, I'm a wus Razz

Get both Super Monkey Ball one and two...great addictive games...

Also, Tiger Woods PGA are fun...and cheap too (the older ones at least)

Prince of Persia, Warrior Within is purdy good...

I definatly recommend Wind Waker...graphics are Cel-Shaded, but the story and gameplay ROCKS...just wait for Twilight Princess Very Happy
