I understand that many furs have taken an interest in 3D art lately and have been asking about software for it. Thing is that most of it runs into the hundreds or thousands of dollars for a single copy. It tends to be problematic for many of us to start learning the basics.
Anyways some friends at my university have suggested a very interesting program that's pretty powerfull for it's going price (free). The program is called Blender. It's practically available for any platform of computer you use (Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, Irix, Solaris). It seems pretty good as software goes and also it's open source.
Blender has also a good set of documentation on it. It has links to video tutorials and also a wikibooks on using it (like the one called "From Noob to Pro" ). Anyways, it's a pretty light program and it seems interesting enough. Just wanted to point it out, so that no one has to spend who knows how much money on software or trying to download it somewhere illegally _________________ Big... Shinee.. Red.. Button!!!
