I found this program called Gmax yesterday, so I fiddled around with it and came up with this eventually. I've never made any kind of 3D graphic before, but I've always wanted to. Until now Ive just made flat images or fake 3D stuff on Photoshop.

Anyways, this is eventually going to be a 3D me. It needs some more refining I think, and a body obviously Shocked

Try starting out with primatives, or basic shapes, then use mesh blend

Mesh blend? Can I do that on Gmax, because I can't find anything that says that.

mesh blend rounds out the basic squares and shapes you used to create a single curved surface from them.

Anyways, I don't know if that progam you're using supports it. I would suggest trying to get Maya 6.5 Personal Learning Edition from Alias Wavefront. It's just like the basic version of Maya that you can buy, but this one's free. Though it does have a few watermarks here and there.

Also I have some stuff on learning to use Maya if you're interested.
