I got Dawn Of War today.. Right out of the shipment box I might add and it is the most awsomness Stratigy game I have ever played. The graphics are AWSOME!!!! ^>.<^ and for all of you WarHammer 40K lovers out there.. this game is the first thing that should be on your shopping list. o.o;;; Go get it...like...now Shocked

Or tomorrow. You won't be sorry. Oh going along with the graphics. You have a cool story line. Nice thought out gameplay. It acually makes you think Shocked

and the lil movie thingys between each mission are coolios. The Beta that went around fits on one CD the acual game... is 3 Shocked

So I can bet you might have some idea howmuch stuff has been added. I will stop talking for now and alow you to get the game and test it out for your self and see what you think of it. till then. Snug ya later.

I ordered it. Should arrive within the next days.

However, I won't be able to actually *play* it until I get back to Germany. I only have my PowerBook here and Leo is running a Linux box. So, there is no PC around here to play it on.

But there is a Games Workshop in not too far from here... so I guess I'll hear a lot about it in the next weeks.

O ya I need to say this. Anyone who has played Warcraft 3 Will know how long it takes to play all the campains. Well Dawn of war is a game for those who really like a indepth story line and a long yet interesting campain mode. See Warcraft three takes a long time to beat... but it's only one disk. DOW is 3 disks. If you can do the math that means DOW is one long game and every second of it kicks butt.

Excellent game. Definitely a step forward or at least in a new direction for RTS. Interactive fight betweem the units and a freely moveable camera make it look so much better than most other RTS games. And for me as a Warhammer 40.000 player it has the appeal of seeing the minis I normally just push around on the table run around on their own on the screen, actually hacking and slashing the enemy.

I hope the promised sequel/add-on will be made since it would feature my army of choice, the Tyranids Smile

acually The guys at Relic have released modding tools for DOW and some awsome mods are being made. Alll the races are being added to the game. And all relic is gonna do for the add-on is take those mods. Make them better and then realese them as the expantion. And possibly add more campain.
