I have posted a new story in case you are interested called "A Walk in the Dark" and it can be read at my website Story Index
It is based on Cheetaur's Swallow and expands on part of her history in "Sabrna Squared". _________________ Kathmandu

Am still reading...
About walking on the bottom of the sea:
I think the best way to move is to basically "swim" at the bottom, that is walk leaning forward and swim with your arms.
I can't help thinking that drag would make hopping or moonwalking rather impractical. _________________ I'm a nut, but there are those who appreciate me for it. |

Well, I thought about that and actually put weights on and tried it myself on the bottom of a pool. I found hopping to be far less strenious using just your legs than a swimming walk. By hopping you can basically cover the length of a pool in a few bounds pretty quickly, trudging as you describe it would take more energy and would be significantly slower. If you watch The Abyss you notice that is how they get around on the bottom, a sort of moonwalk hop to cover large distances.
Thanks for reading and commenting, continue reading... _________________ Kathmandu

Yes, I want to thank Mike for hosting it on his site as well and what a fine job he and everyone involved did. I must say it looks far better in Acrobat format than it does on my webpage. Thanks a lot.
