Later this evening I will be installing several patches and upgrades on this server. I have tested these patches and upgrades on SCRUFFY, my local testing machine, without any problems.

The patch and upgrade process will take approximately 2 hours starting at around 9:00pm ET, though I do expect it to be finished before that. During this time several services will be unavailable, including (but not limiting too): Apache Web Server, Ensim Control Panel, and a few others. Once the patches have been applied I will make sure every service affected by the patch is performing properly, so you may be able to get to some of these services briefly, though they may be unavailable shortly afterward. After everything looks okay, I will then install the upgrades, test the affected servers, then bring it all back online once everything looks okay.

Patches and upgrades are complete. If you have any problems with the web server, email server, FTP server, or the Ensim Control Panel, please let me know as soon as possible. Please post any new problems to the Site Problems forum.

In addition to several other patches and upgrades, one of the upgrades installed was Turck MMCache. This will help with PHP's response time by keeping a cache of optimized scripts. Hopefully this will also help with the server load in some areas. Any script using PHP will benefit from this change. No changes will be required to be made to your scripts.
