Given all the troubles Concolor has had lately. I rather suspect that this got lost during the restoration. I note that other things got dropped when Whip did the restore. _________________ "But the wildest of all the wild animals was the Cateagle. He walked by himself and all places were alike to him."

Beyond what was lost between the time of the backup (Aug 15) and the time the server crashed (Aug 19), which was unavoidable due to the frequency of the backup and bandwidth available, is there anything that is still unavailable that should have been restored? |

Nope, not that I know of. I've just noticed mention of some missing posts and I had a couple items I'd put in a private folder on my site disappear. No big deal, I still had them here. _________________ "But the wildest of all the wild animals was the Cateagle. He walked by himself and all places were alike to him."

Well, as has been noted previously I have had a lot on my plate the last few months. I did get another piece of Chapter 29 done, and according to my e-mail records it got sent to Mike, but ... (thanks a lot MS Don'tlook).
I'll re-send it.
So, I just checked the site to see if it was there, which it was, but it has sustained some damage. It would seem that all the quotation marks and apostrophes in the story text have been turned into question marks. Makes reading it something of a chore, so My Advice is to go to the Bookshelf. I'll let everyone know when I've fixed the problems.
Actually, since we upgraded to our current computer about three months ago I've been unable to communicate with my website. I would like to get some decent FTP software and a new copy of Dreamweaver and just start over. It's waaaay too much of a plain-jane in its current incarnation, and I've had some ideas for what I'd like for it to become. That, however, will have to wait until we finally, irrevocably get out from under the problems with our house. No extra time or money for me for a while. _________________ Oddly enough, my life is based on a true story. (Ashleigh Brilliant) |

*Chuckle* Going by the sotries he's told me, that's more the understatement of the millenium. _________________ "But the wildest of all the wild animals was the Cateagle. He walked by himself and all places were alike to him."
